Glad to inform you all, that our Basaveshwara Medical College and Hospital, Professor Dr. Sudhindra K S, Dept of Microbiology had the privilege to attend as Resource Faculty at "National Level CME on Microbial Mysteries" organised by Karwar Institute of Medical Sciences, Karwar on 07-11-2024.
The topic was requested to talk upon was "Diagnostic Stewardship"
We are very much familiar with the terminology of "Antimicrobial Stewardship" but what's this "Diagnostic Stewardship".
The essence of "Diagnostic Stewardship" is that "Before I point fingers/talk to someone, first let me check if I am doing my things right in the lab and in the way, I am supposed to be doing".
Dr Sudhindra K S, to be chosen to talk on this topic, it as a recognition and honour for all the Laboratory Physicians in our institution and city of Chitradurga for all the Good work, we are doing with regards to Good Clinical Laboratory Practices in our area.
